What are you favorite old school games? I've got all the old Nintendo consoles like the NES, SNES, 64 the Sega Genesis and Atari 2600, basically too many to name. Some of my favorites: Super Mario World Megaman Zelda: Ocarina of Time Gunstar Heroes Turtles in Time Banjo Kazooie Sonic 2 (even though it's hard a'f) Super Metroid Mike Tyson's Punch Out Super Mario Bros. 3 What say you, Clutchfans?

I could play Ocarina of Time for days. Greatest game of all time. Also: NFL Blitz Any standard Mario game Goldeneye Street Fighter Mortal Kombat Super Star Wars Spiderman Maximum Carnage Original Tony Hawk. I know every word to every song in that game. NBA Jam Pokeman Blue/Red
With or without the Konami code? I'll be bragadocious for a bit and say I've beaten it (once) without the 30 live code
Love AVGN. Not too sure about his movie though, hopefully it'll be worth the like 15 years it's been in production.
SNES/N64/Playstation days were the best. Consider it the golden age of gaming. Street Fighter 2 Super Mario World Super Mario Kart Donkey Kong Country LoZ: Link to the Past Super Metroid Final Fantasy 4,6, and 7 Suikoden 1 & 2 Super Puzzle Fighter II Star Fox 64 Goldeneye 64 LoZ: Ocarina of time and Majora's Mask Resident Evil 1 & 2 Metal Gear Solid Chrono Trigger and others im sure i missed. So much nostalgia. Nowadays, videos games are way too corporate and money these days.
Gotta give props to the Zelda series. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and some of the earlier classics, and later gameboy retro classics are great. The N64 games all had an epic Claude De Bussy sort of feel to them. Banjo Kazooie was awesome too.
talking about genesis and pc, n64 ain't retro enough doom heretic road rash streets of rage golden axe street fighter sonic
Awesome, awesome list. Though I've never heard of Heretic, and never got into Sonic. Other good lists here as well. I'll second Chrono Trigger, and add Captain Tsubasa 2, Battletoads, Battletoads and Double Dragon, Rock & Roll Racing, and many more that I'm forgetting. For fans of Streets of Rage, here is a nostalgia trip!
There needs to be a comeback of 2d games. Flappy bird proved it. This 3d and even if it becomes almost human-like it's still going to suck. There needs to be some type of innovative thinking.
I certainly wouldn't call flappy bird innovative. That game has existed since the 80s. If flappy bird proves anything its that if you want to make money in making games then don't target gamers.
How the heck is the N64 not retro? it's damn near 20 years old. Everybody considers the 32-64 bit era retro. There are people trying to call the PS2/XBox/Gamecube era retro, but I don't think so. Not yet. My cutoff is the Dreamcast, that's the last retro console imo.
