If you've ever eaten at the Walburg German restaurant, there's a video game arcade in the Biergarten in the back with dozens of classics-- Frogger, Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Tempest, etc.

Nice way to top off a feast of fantastic German food. The arcade's closed at the moment but it'll be reopening shortly.

Hopefully I can network at this thing and find a free or extremely cheap cabinet to house my MAME machine.

i love that game. have you noticed the 2 versions of the original? i hated teh slow one. i've topped 1,000,000 points a couple times.

by the way, i'm sure this place will be packed. so if the games are "free" how will you know who has next?

My wife and I already agreed that I'm going to buy a full-size Galaga at some point to put in our back "entertainment" room. I loved that game growing up and I MUST HAVE IT!!!

Slippery Pete and Shlomo can help you move it. And I will help tape off the loading zone.

You're likely thinking of Galaxian, a predecessor to Galaga that only allowed you to move left and right and fire a single shot. If I remember correctly, the aliens didn't swoop at you either.
