I've always bought and sold my games on ebay to save money. In the past, Gamestop has been ridiculously more expensive in comparison and waiting a few days to get the new game never bothered me.

After buying Madden '11 and playing it 3-4 times, I'm ready to list it on ebay again...until I realize they want a final value fee of $6 to sell it for $40! That on top of the small insertion fee, the $3 to send it and the $2-3 Paypal charges to receive the money. I'd end up with about $30 after all of that. Instead, Gamestop gave me $25 store credit and I picked up the PS3 Move right there in store.

There's still Craigslist (where you should get the best value) but I've run into more flakes there than in a cereal box. I've heard Amazon is taking a lot of customers from ebay. Anybody have experience selling on Amazon? Where do you sell your games and other stuff if not on ebay?

half.com is also an option. Used it to sell textbooks, worked pretty well.

After all is said and done, Gamestop or Craiglist is probably better after eBay FEES

Selling on amazon also has a high "commission" fee probably not gonna be much of a difference. Amazon also has a trade in program for amazon credit that is somewhat higher then gamestop and they also pay for your shipping.

Why not? Their prices on used games actually seem lower than what I remember in the past as well. They sell Madden '11 in store for $42. I paid $40 (the cheapest "buy it now" at the time) on eBay.

Gamestop will always be a bit more expensive but it's become close enough to make me a customer again.

Selling Madden 2011 on ebay for $40?

Don't you also have to buy a pass from EA to play online for $10 so that you can play online as well?

Why not just buy the entire thing for $49.99 and get the Sports Illustrated subscription?

Thanks, I'll look into that. If I'm just going to buy another game anyway, sounds perfect.

I just googled that and I only found the deal for $59...I only read magazines on the throne so I'd just assume save some trees unless you can wipe with it too. And I'm not too worried about the online play, I'm more of a franchise player.

Buying guys on ebay is way better then gamestop if you can wait a couple days. Some games on there have free shipping, so not only can you save a couple bucks, you don't have to pay taxes on ebay. I bought Uncharted one for 15 bucks sealed.

Screens usually need to be replaced completely but this isn't the toughest of jobs. You'll likely find a decent tech who moonlights on Craigslist fixing Wiis, modding 360s, etc. Look up "repair" or "modding" in the "video games" or "electronics" sections. That's where I'd go first.

    ^^

No doubt, buying isn't the issue for me though. I'll always buy from eBay sellers, just not sure I want to sell there myself anymore.

That's a couple of endorsements for half.com...def gonna check that out now.

I thought half is a branch of ebay? Fees probably don't hit you as much because it's a lot less known than ebay.
