Hopefully it won't skip a beat without Rocksteady.
Never got around to playing Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, but I heard they were good. This should be too.
Didn't play Arkham Asylum, but Arkham City was one of my favorite games of the last 5 years. I'm a little concerned that Rocksteady isn't developing this new one.
Was excited until I heard Rocksteady wasn't doing the game, will have to wait and see. Hopefully it'll live up to the first 2 games.
I'm still gonna be there on release day But after releasing two masterpieces, they change the developer and let Paul Dini, the lead story writer go. Doesn't make any sense to me. The great gameplay structure is already in place, so the game will probably still be nice, but quality seems bound to suffer. At least Kevin Conroy is back as batman
The story sounds good. Black Mask putting out a hit in a young Batman. Deathstroke as a main villain. I don't think not having Rocksteady will be too much of a factor.
I wish it was a sequel, arkham city was setting up something with azrael and scarecrow. Perhaps rocksteady will work on that for next gen. Either way a good superhero game is always welcome
Arkham Asylum was a great game. Probably the best superhero video game ever made up to that point, then Arkham City came along and blew it out of the water. WB's in house studio has a lot to try to live up to. That said, Rocksteady had only done one game (that I'd never heard of) before Asylum so they could surprise us. But I'll still wait for the reviews before getting excited.

Haven't gotten it yet. GTA, school and work is taking up most of my time. It received solid reviews though of course not as good as the first 2.
I pre-ordered it. Don't let the mediocre reviews fool you, the high standards are being held against it. It's not as good as Arkham City, which is honestly what I expected given new developers. There are some technical bugs, and it brings nothing new. Having said that, it's still a great game, just not as good as the masterpiece it's following. If you liked the first 2, you'll certainly like this one. The popular opinion is that Rocksteady is concentrating on the next gen Batman game, and they handed off development of this one to another company.
