Not very often do you see a game that has truly different game play then what we have seen in the past. Heavy Rain looks to be one of those games. It's a PS3 exclusive and is heavily focused on game play. WOw. That game looks amazing. I haven't had anything on my PS3 since Madden (a year ago)...and GTAIV....pretty much just a paper weight.

Considering Quantic Dream was pitching the game to publishers with its tech demo at E3 2006 IIRC....don't think so.
It is short...sort of. You can beat it in 4 hours if I'm not mistaken. But that's only if you play it one way. Play it another way, and it might be closer to 10-12 hours or something like that. Don't know if any single playthrough will be 20 hours, but you'll probably be able to get 20 hours of playtime from it.
Wasn't "Heavy Rain" the name of the movie that Steve Martin was trying to make in the movie "Bowfinger"?
And Demon's Souls. And Valkyria Chronicles. I pity the fool who owns a PS3 and doesn't play those three.
I just picked up Uncharted 2 last week and that game is probably the greatest game I've ever played... and I'm a huge Metal Gear fan. I've been following previews of Heavy Rain and I think I'm gonna pick this up.
I'm still trying to finish Star Ocean as soon as I can so I can squeeze in Heavy Rain before Final Fantasy XIII and God of War 3 come out. If I can't finish Star Ocean in time, Heavy Rain will sit there unplayed until probably late April or May.
