Just a reminder, this guy was projected a top 5 pick at one point. The only surprise is that he hasn't been doing this on a regular basis.

Ever since summer league, I've never questioned DMo's offensive arsenal. It was clear from the beginning that as long as he can stay on the court, he can easily be a top-10 interior talent on offense. He just has to be good enough on defense to see the court.

I wonder if Dmo is a better rebounder than Morris or 2Pat o_O?

And why are we not giving this guy more playing time?

The few times I've seen him? No. Because he gets pushed around too easily. Also, the whole Patterson/Morris never gets rebound thing is so misleading. There's a reason why you see so many Lin to Patterson transition dunks. These guys are asked to run down the court after opponents shoot. Generally, they're the first people down the court.

I have no doubt that if the Rockets played Memphis style of basketball, Patterson would be considered an average rebounding PF simply due to opportunities.

Hmm I dunno seems like when Patpat felt like he had something to prove when twitter fans and the coaches called him out on his rebounding, he was a beast. Seems more like just effort.

DMo showed me something with his moves. But the guy needs to do some core exercises...the guy got physically bullied by the likes of Odom.

That only accounts for offensive rebounds. You can't argue that PPatt/Morris couldn't afford to grab some defensive rebounds or at the very least box their man out so the opposing team doesn't grab offensive rebounds.

Nah, I think he will be ok..... let's give him a few minutes every game but it should be with Lin or Harden on the court.

Damm good to know. It's not like Morris is a defensive stud and Patpat is decent I guess. So hopefully Dmo starts to get some of Morris's minutes. :( He just seems way more offensively versatile than both of the pfs to not use more often.

Effort applies to every player, not just Patterson. He rebounded fine as a rookie(8.3 per 36 minutes) before getting injured, which is decent for a PF.

Are you sure you read my post correctly? Because it seems you interpreted the opposite of what I said.

Yeah he is the power forward so normally he should have the second most rebound attempts and we know Asik is ALL EFFORT.
