Chase has been playing pretty good since he got back in the rotation, he might be getting close to getting his starting job back as Parsons keeps on slipping.

All the PERites should take a look these days....Chase has a much better PER than Parsons.

Nah, just having fun pointing out the hypocrisy of the PER people.

Chase shouldn't get his starting job back, regardless of how well he is playing.

This team is desperate for a guy that can put up points off the bench.

Well the argument about Parsons having a better PER and thus should be starting, or that he had better overall stats, and yet he doesn't, in fact Chases are better.....but you won't hear them clamoring to see the guy with the better stats, and advanced stats start, now will ya?

    Nope....

And for the record, I would rather Morris start, Chase backup and Parsons play the defensive stopper role when needed.

    Chase is at 15.7
    CPars is at 13.1

That is a pretty big difference about 20%.....pretty significant in PER.

I think Chase has found his role as instant offense off the bench. He hit some clutch shots, played decent defense, grabbed some boards, didn't turn the ball over. A really solid performance by Bud. We've needed someone to fill that role, and he's been filling it well. I like Lee, Dragic, and Bud coming in as the second unit. Not bowled over by what we have coming in at the 4 and 5 spots, at least not yet. Patterson seems to have lost his shot and just doesn't look comfortable out there. Hill is Hill. More like a bump than a hill, really. Adrien was a really nice surprise. I don't know if he'll be this effective ordinarily, but he worked tonight. Good call by McHale.

    That's false.

The majority of praises for Parson goes to his defense, which is NOT shown on PER. It's the fact that Parsons has such advanced defense combined with the fact that he has higher PER than Bud that people agreed with Parsons starting.

Nobody is clamoring over Parsons' offense, I have no idea where you got that idea from.

No one is saying Chase doesn't deserve to play, he earned his way back to the bench. Everyone agrees.

I think you're just flip flopping again.

He's playing effciently....I give him that....... but he still was 1 for 7 in the beginning.... and that was just plain turrible to watch

Parsons just doing a good job not completely to hit the Rookie Wall and I think he's doing pretty ok

Can't ask for much more from a second rounder.... We need his size and the little things

You can't change the fact that

Chase is really responding to McHale's coaching.

This system is really working for him.

PER favors offensive players. Parsons's best qualities don't show up in the box score.

    25 PER Superstar
    20 PER Allstar
15 PER is the margin of an average NBA player

    under 10 PER FAIL
