My PC came without a video game. I can't play almost any of the newer games. I have a Diamond Monster 3D 32meg video card in my old PC. Does that Monster 3D card still support the latest games? Can I use it to play games like Madden 2004?

If I want to get a new video card, what are the good ones out there? I just want a decent one which can play all the games with affordable price.

    I am using a Athlon 1800X. Thanks.

    what is your price range?

I bought a the Nvidia 5200 FX for $80 ($100 at Best Buy). So far so good. It's not a top of the line card, but it will play all of todays newest games.

Its 128MB AGP. Same as the 5600 (mem) but is clocked much lower.

The top of the line cards will run you around $344. Way too much for me.

I wanted to spend no higher than $100, and so far my card has been pretty good to me.

    EDIT:
Oh, i am using an AMD XP 2400+
    RAM: 768MB.

Your best bet is to read the system requirments for the game you want. It might need more than a 32MB Graphics card.

Also, since it is an older card make sure (if you are going to use your old one [if you can]) you get the Latest updates.
When you install games a lot of them will tell you about problems with older cards...conflicts etc.
