I have a geforce 3 ti200 video card with tv-out. Now my question is how do I hook it up to my tv? My motivation is that we now have a 65" Widescreen tv and I am dying to see what some of my games look like on there. The cord I have that I think Im supposed to use has an svideo port on one end and a yellow port on the other. So is it simple as pluggin the svideo end into my computer and plugging the yellow cord into the video in port on my tv? Or are there settings I need to change on my video card to do this? Please help!
On mine it was as simple as running an s-video cable from computer to TV. However, there is a setting on the Display menu (right click on desktop) that I must change. I'm at work, so this is from memory: Settings tab>>Advanced>>Device Selector>>TV. One thing to be sure of is being able to see the TV from the computer, because your monitor will go blank and you have to see the TV screen to get it back to computer. Also, my TV requires putting it on Multimedia to get the s-video in signal.
ahh so I understand I have to change that setting now. My thinking will be that my regular monitor will be no where near where my tv is..... Im just going to move the computer into the living room and try it on the big screen. Thanks for the help!
