Bonzi seems irritated. Too bad he couldn't be re-integrated sooner.

I am just glad that Bonzi still wants to play and have the confident to be successful in the playoff (if he plays). Hopefully he will be in all the games for the remaining of the season.

rockets are officially desperate. we need to hope tmac and yao are fit enough for a game to try an experimental starting lineup of rafer, bonzi, tmac, chuck, yao.

as good as battier has been we need to have a look to see if moving tmac back to sf is more beneficial for the team. it has been tmac's best position in the past, maybe it will be for the best again.

no bonzi, tracy and yao are not all the ammunition we need to win it all.

PLEASE convince JVG to play you more. i'm VERY VERY VERY sure your post game can help us. esp. if we play the mavs or spurs, who tends to use midgets on you.

Bonzi didn't say it outright, but he seems really resentful of his treatment this year. Too bad. :(

you have to give Bonzi props for saying the right things, hopefully the management fires JVG asap

whenever I hear Battier in an interview I want to punch him in the face, he just irritates me!

JVG is so boring. All he ever talks about is eliminating defensive mistakes. Don't know why the reporters didn't ask about the Bonz. Guess we'll see how he's used but if it was me I'd be playing him just in case TMac goes out with that back again.

If JVG doesnt play bonzi now, we are going to go into playoffs with a T-Back and getting Rafer Alston to play Tmac's minutes if he goes out. EEKS I JUST GOT SICK THINKING ABOUT THAT. IF WE DONT GET BONZI READY NOW, WE CAN"T JUST PUT HIM IN AND EXPECT HIM TO DO THINGS. At least get him into game shape

What kind of media do you guys have there in Houston. I thought the Baltimore press sucked. Why don't they get on Van idiot for not playing guy who have actual talent. There is no reason Bonzi shouldn't be getting lots of minutes. I don't care why Van Gundy doesn't like Bonzi. He should put his personal prejudices aside and play a great player with talent. I fear this team will never go anywhere as long as Jeff Van Gundy is coach. He's an overrated fool who never learns from his mistakes.

Just because you didn't hear it brought up last night doesn't mean the question hasn't been asked to JVG before, and it has.

The media questions are soft. JVG has them controlled very well. I wish Cluthfans would have someone asking questions that are tough. I am sure JVG would expelled them from asking questions though.

The media pundits are suckups to assistant coach and this organization.

The Chronicle never ever criticizes this guy for anything ever. As much as he complains about energy he never says or stops to think he probably didnt do a good job of motivating them.

How is it, you can play heavy minutes for Ryan Bowen but bench Bonzi Wells all year? That doesn't even sound right.

That Bonzi interview and his overall situation just really, really frustrates me. I am just having a hard time understanding JVG on this one...I mean, his job is on the line.

Watch Hoosiers and you'll understand why JVG won't play Bonzi Wells. JVG is the stereotypical 'Team' coach who alway emphasize on defense and getting something out of every position. Bonzi on the other hand, albeit gifted, is selfish, lazy, and stubborn. So yeah those two won't meet eye to eye any time soon which obvious equates to Bonzi not getting any playoff minutes...which is unfortunate b/c he has had experience deep into the playoffs with the Trailblazers.

However, JVG should not be the only one blamed for this quagmire. Management should have thought better than bringing in an underpaid, thus unhappy, polar opposite personality to this team and expect some divine intervention in the first year. Is JVG suppose to suddenly become the Zen Master and somehow manipulate the undisciplined players into Mr. quasi-Battiers? No dude, it takes a while.
