I wish there was a blocking contest in the Allstar.. I don't know how that would be possible, but that would be cool.
that's one of those blocks that makes you reevaluate, in Smith's case, how good you are as a dunker. sick sick block.
Damn he rejected that hard. Surprised J.R. didn't fall down on his ass. Would be pretty interesting to have a dunk off vs. *insert blocking leader*, kinda like a soccer shootout. Too bad with bodies going that high constantly, there's a good chance of injury.
Like that one wachmacallit... slamball or something? I forgot what it's called.. it's that sh*tty sport mimicking basketball with tramplines.
I saw it when it happened and didn't realize who it was. The bad thing was Denver got the rebound and J.R. Smith drilled a 3 pointer on that same possession. Azubuike is not a very good player. He didn't impress me at all. I would much rather have Padgett than him.
I just took a look at his statline. I only saw the 1st half plus a teeny amount of the 2nd. Maybe he stepped it up while I wasn't looking. The game was nothing more than a very hard scrimmage. There was no defense at all. It was disgraceful NBA basketball. The high scoring and ridiculous shooting percentages were because of no defense, not good offense. I'll say this for the 15-20th time this season: Nellie needs to retire. I know the Warriors have injury problems but he cannot successfully coach in today's NBA. Either he's too old or the NBA has passed him by. Azubuike's line looks good but it doesn't surprise me. I think the Nuggets buried them in the 3rd quarter and the game probably got even more leisurely than the 1st half. George Karl also has a job in front of him. The Nuggets were being wasted by the Warriors most of the time I was watching. Problem was, the Warriors would never get back on defense (even after making a basket) and Denver easily stayed with them until make a run midway in the 2nd quarter.
