    I don't know what to make of this.

    Acid doesn't just randomly bubble like that. That is only in cheesy 1950's movies.

    My guess is that the cause is a surfactant added to break up the oil spill which is altering the surface tension of the water, and causing bubbles to form when the surf breaks.

    Yes, the ocean is boiling with acid. Never mind that the guy shooting the video is standing in the supposed boiling acid water.

    A lot of times in meetings, some manager will say "we don't want to try to boil the ocean." I'm bookmarking this video for the next time someone says that.

    Nice... I liked the sirens in the background. That, and the camera being turned sideways at the end just adds to the whole somber mood.
