I think the rockets should get Victor over scoot. But if the rockets can't get Victor I think if they can they should get Scoot.
So in your mind Wemby's frame is equally susceptible to injury than lets say a PJ Tucker or many other players.
I'm just spitballing here but also, hypothetically, if we were to get the third pick, then I think maybe we should take the third best player behind Scoot and Victor.

Injuries are a crapshoot unless you've got some statistical evidence showing that tall lanky players are more injury prone than others. Due to bias, when a super tall player gets injured you probably attribute it to their height or frame and when a guard or wing blows out their knee it's just dumb luck. If Evan Mobley were injured everyone would be saying it was because he's skinny. But when Cade Cunningham needs season ending surgery it's just totally unpredictable right? Even if tall players were injured more often, that's only one factor to consider rather than the deciding factor. Philadelphia in 2014 selected Joel Embiid despite a history of leg and back injuries and he's now their franchise player. AD had that skinny frame and has been constantly injured but was still worthy of that #1 pick selection.
No, in my mind a player falling on any player's knee can cause a career ending injury. When it comes to big men, you just have to ask yourself if they have a skeletal build that can afford to have NBA big level weight put on it without highly increasing the chances of injury. This was the big reason I was against Chet for example and to a certain extent, Wemby. That said, at some point you have to take a risk and unlike Mobley or Chet, I think Wemby's skillset and the way he moves does make him worth taking a risk on.
