    He said that at least three times in the 15 minute clip of his hiring news conference.

    I wonder if their is any significants to it. Cuttino always came second on his list.

    It's pretty obvious JVG really likes Cat, so we better just get used to trying to love Cuttino again, instead of trying to think of ways to get rid of him...

    If JVG can correct Cat's weaknesses, ie. jacking up ill-advised shots, Cat is a perfect compliment to SF and YM.

    Cat, Eddie, T-Morrece, etc all have talent. I would like to see how they play under JVG before talking about getting rid of them.

    any word on Cat's recovery from surgery? I don't recall seeing anything in the paper about "it was a success" or "we found more damage than we thought."

    Personally I think if Cat stays, he will thrive in Van Gundy's defensive minded system. On the offensive end he wont be able to JACK crazy shots....... If he does he will be benched.

    Offseason moves that make sense to me:

    1. Resign Posey
    2. Sign a veteran backup PG
    3. Trade Mo Taylor or Eddie for a hustle minded physical veteran.

    I think Francis and Mobley are equal to Sprewell and Houston. I think JVG could turn the Rockets back court into something special.

    A Chinese reporter met Cat at one WNBA game a few days ago in Houston. He reported that Cat was in great spirit. Cat said Yao called him and other teammates in China. He wished Yao best.
