Let Roy do what ever he wants to do (just like tonight). The key and only Key is to shut down L. Aldridge..... That is all, if we shut him down, like we did tonight, we will sweep the Portland Trailfinders.......

As much as most Rocket fans, like to get all into stuff and act like problems exist that really don't, this is for you..... It really is that simple.... Shut down L. Aldridge, and the game/series is officially over....

Sorry about the extra thread. I will donate 5 bucks right now, just so I myself can give a shout out to a Rocket who I didn't give respect to earlier this season.

    Aaron Brooks
, I'm sorry for everything I said about you. You my friend, are a great Rocket player, who really cares about the game. If by slight chance you ever read this thread, please take over this team like you did tonight. You looked soooo solid out there. You set up Yao for the easy buckets, you helped Ron not take many shots and let him play his role on the team (DD that is for you). You set up Luis, and he totally dominated. Give us this every playoff game, and I will support you the rest of your Rockets career!!!!!

You have soooo much potential, just remember you are the Rockets Point guard, not shooting Guard.... BE the leader, and set the players up!!!!

    Thanks Aaron Brooks.

    Thanks Rockets,

This game really meant a lot to me.

pretty surprised that scola worked aldridge up. I was actually eager to see chuck hayes roughening aldridge up but I guess we'll see a little bit of that in later games.

Like JVG, playing a team with their main superstar as a SG/SF plays to our advantage and our defensive personnel.

Its the quick or athletic big stars like Carlos Boozer or versatile big men like Okur and to some extent Aldrige/Frye who gives us trouble. Stop them from providing the support artillery while keeping the star SG/SF in check and we have a good chance.

The very easy key for the Rockets is for the Blazers to continue their choke job from game 1. They weren't close to being prepared and mentally ready. If they don't snap out of it big time, this series will end 4-0 next Sunday.

It's not that easy. Brandon Roy is a player not to underestimate. I think he just took Game 1 to shake off some playoff jitters. Come next game, I expect him to play at a much higher level.

Having said that, I expect Artest to take his defense at a higher level as well to match. I dunno if any of you guys noticed, but Artest's defense wasn't his normal physical, zero-breathing-space type defense. He just played good enough defense to slow down Roy. Artest is just waiting til Roy really steps up his game.

Ya, but if Artest "plays good enough defense" to shut down Roy as your claim, every game..... the series is over... JMO

ROY IS NOT KOBE OR JAMES!

I think Artest just struggles with picks, and Roy is really good at using them to get a step on the defender.

No way Blazers play again like this. It could still very easily go to 7 games. All the Blazers need is one W to regain their swagger.

Portland is going to make adjustments to run their offense to how they want it. I don't think it'll be that easy to make Roy just have his. Nate is smart to know this, he's had playoff experience, he'll figure out ways to get his offense going. We just have to continue to make adjustments after each game or during the game to counter his moves.

I'm not trying to sound "over confident" but cool they might win the next game.... we are still going to Houston for 2 games in a row...

PEOPLE GET OVER IT.. BRANDON ROY IS NOT KOBE OR LEBRON

When they prove to me that they have an answer for Yao, I'll jump on the, "they have a chance wagon"

I saw Roy play earlier this season, when he was putting up 30+ point games. I saw his game against PHX when he scored 50. That same guy is not who we saw tonight. Roy can play at a much better level than what he showed us this game. Roy has the potential to take over a game... but on the other hand the Rocket's defense also takes over games. Hopefully our defense can stay above.

Because we have the best defense it the southwest.... Take away his buzzer beater and what has he ever done to us?

I agree with you our D will continue to take over.

Roy looked scared tonight. I don't know what it was, but he was not aggressive at all after the first quarter.
