I sincerely believe our strategy is a disservice to this roster. We have so much versatility, guys who can post up, strong bigs and forwards, so many great all-round shooters that MDA should learn to adapt to! A versatile offense should not be a problem for this group of guys. They are smart and highly skilled.

Stop forcing this run and gun threes on a roster that is not made for it. If we’d have 4-5 elite stand still 3pt shooters who can’t do much else than by all means, do it. We just don’t have that. Even our best 3pt shooters have great ability to either get inside, shoot midrange, long range or attack the basket.

A good coach adapts his strategy to the roster. You need to maximise talent, not limit it. MDA is not really calling plays, but what he’s instructing and plays we’re practicing should include way more versatility. Give these players some credit, we have a great roster!

I think this team would do better if we implement fast breaks with guys running the lanes, not go to the corners. Mbah, Capela, Nene, Harden, Gordon and CP3 can all run and finish at the basket.

Then there’s our bigs in Ryno, Capela, Nene, Black + CP3, Harden, Gordon and Tucker. They are strong and skilled enough to do something out of a post up; drive, step back shot. Opens it up for our shooters too potentially.

I hope I don’t have to convince anyone of Nene’s range, Mbah’s driving skills, Tucker’s strength, Ryno’s step back etc. We could get great shots if we slow it down and just utilise the skillset of the guys we have, mix things up and make it harder for defenses.

I agree. Things are too predictable when you have both Ego and Harden attempting 35 threes a game. Plus we don't have the sharpshooting volume shooting of years past. We need to put more skilled players on the high post. GSW is lethal with this isolation

D'Antoni has said he wants to add layers. It's a work in progress. We need CP3 back.

Les wanted MDA and the fast paced offense. Morey is setting the roster up for MDA’s inevitable departure.

People do need to chill until CP3 is back for more than a couple of weeks. Anything that is happening right now does not resemble what we will be seeing in January, for example. We may have an entirely new set of things to worry about, then.
