Maxwell is going to achieve a Chuck Norris like mythos in this forum very soon. He had disappeared for such a long time, I don't think anybody knew his whereabouts or what he was up to, then he appeared at the championship team reunion, and looked great! It was like when we all thought the Ultimate Warrior was dead and then he appeared on WCW Monday Nitro.
One without even playing for the team past the first round!!! PS. Before someone says "anyone could do that".......McGrady couldnt. Not even with the Spurs.
When I met Otis Thorpe, I had a tray of drinks up above my shoulder. The drinks went everywhere. I'm sure Vernon has no desire to meet me. I would probably just make his day worse (even though mine would get better).
That is why I have the user name that I have. So I feel obligated to post something in this thread just b/c. My all time favorite Rocket.

Met him at the Tri-Star show a couple months back and I have to say the guy is just a joy to talk to. Such a great guy and really took the time to interact with you and not brush you off. He was one of my favorite Rockets players back in the day and he continues to be even after the fact.

Nice, I brought up a story how back when I was a kid my dad used to run the Valet at a club called the "Ocean Club" all the ball players used to go there after the games. I have a ton of autographs on Valet Ticket stubs. He paused for a second when I told him about it and then he was like "OH DAYUM, that was a long time ago. I remember that place perfectly. Definitely a legend in my eyes.
