So, I think the past 5 nights my roommate has had some kind of alcohol at night. Now, as an aside, I have no problem with drinking - I think it is all good to have a few beers while watching a football game or down a few while socializing at the bar, no biggie. However, all past 5 nights (and various other nights before that), my roommate has drank by himself here in our apartment for no specific reason or special occasion. I'll be here with him just relaxing, but he'll drink to the point of getting drunk. When he gets drunk he gets very argumentative over stupid things that he has no clue about (ex: we were watching Vanilla Sky and he was trying to argue to me how Tom Cruise would have been perfectly fine if he wore a seatbelt and that nobody ever dies in a car crash if they wear a seatbelt). Generally, he just becomes very, very annoying. He even mentioned this morning that "if hangovers didn't exist, I'd probably be an alcoholic because I'm so bored and have nothing to do nowadays". It seems that he basically just drinks at night because he is bored, or maybe he just thinks that being drunk is "cool"? When we go out, he'll drink to the point of memory black outs and he usually gets himself into some kind of mild trouble because he doesn't really comprehend what is going on. I'm starting to think he has a borderline problem. Sorry, just had to vent.
Haha I top both of you. I had a gay roommate in college who drank a lot and started some pretty heavy drug use. It was ****ing annoying as hell to deal with him drunk because I had to make sure he didn't throw up in his sleep and choke. And I had to literally spoon out vomit because he was so drunk. Although, he was a pretty fun person to be around when he ate some shrooms or did some weed. The gay thing wasnt that big an issue since he wasn't hooking up with random guys or anything. Still, it was really awkward when he told me he was.
I mean, I could even understand it if he sat back with a good beer or a glass of a good liquor at the end of a hard day, but: 1. He doesn't do anything all day. 2. He'll buy the 8.99 no-name brand vodka. The other thing is, he's not just a "roommate", but he's been my friend since freshman year.

That's nothing. My siamese twin is gay. I don't have a problem with it, except for one thing...we share the same body. Think about it.
When he is really drunk you have two options: 1. Beat the crap out of him , say that when he was drunk he mouthed off in front of some minorities. 2. sodomize him. he'll wake up with a sore ass and you can say that the guy he came home with last night just left.
yeah im not saying its wrong to be a virgin at that age. but... its not really normal to sit at home a lot and drink by yourself and be a virgin at that age. tell him he needs to start working, spend his time that way and get a lady there fun to hang out with.
