To be clear, he's not on my list, but I recognized the confusion because plenty of others are and I've been in the same position more than once.

Venezuela, the US's first Oil Vassal State. Mexico may be next. They do have oil, right?

    mexico, canada, greenland

    take your pick.

imagine a european country just straight up kidnap donald and tell the world they'll run the US until further notice. this is in no way defending maduro. i'm just saying imagine the scenario where the US is the attackee not the attacker.

The biggest knock on Maduro was how utterly brainless and incompetent he was. He couldn't leverage Venezuela's vast oil weath, a golden goose, to create a better country. He made it infinitely worst with this brand of authoritarian communism. And that's what communism always attracts, the incompetent who lack ability that create a society no one except Somalian types want to live in.

Every Hispanic in the West is rejoicing today. Thank you President Trump for getting this narco terrorist out of power and allowing the transition Venezuelans wanted, viva la Venezuela!!

    Voice from a Venezuelan:

“As a Venezuelan, I can say this plainly: much of the left leaning media is going to aggressively twist this story. What needs to be understood is that when the bombs fell, they struck only military bases and an international airport that had already been closed, with all international flights suspended.
Many Venezuelans did not panic, they cheered from their homes when they saw the helicopters. This was not random or uninformed support. Roughly 75% of Venezuelans voted for María Corina Machado, backing her platform and her openly stated plan to pursue cooperation with the United States, including the possibility of U.S. intervention, to remove Nicolás Maduro from power in exchange for reopening Venezuela to free trade.
This was a calculated choice. Venezuela has resources the United States wants, and the United States has the leverage and support Venezuela needs. It was a path we knowingly chose, fully aware of the risks involved.

Love it or hate it, do not accept the narrative at face value. This was not imposed on us. We chose this path.”

Trump aims to replace a narco terrorist with a FEMALE nobel peace prize winner, truly progressive and something liberals will be cheering for

'The hour of freedom has arrived' says Venezuelan opposition leader María Machado

Nobel Peace Prize laureate María Machado celebrated the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, calling for the rebuilding of the nation after decades of dictatorship.

“Venezuelans, the hour of freedom has arrived,” Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado exclaimed in a statement on Saturday following the capture of President Nicolás Maduro by US special forces.

Machado said, “Faced with his [Maduro’s] refusal to accept a negotiated exit, the government of the United States has fulfilled its promise to enforce the law. Maduro, as of today, faces international justice for the atrocious crimes committed against Venezuelans and against citizens of many other nations.”

She called for the restoration of order, the freeing of political prisoners, and the rebuilding of the nation after decades of dictatorship.

Dude Trump already trashed Maria and said shes have no role in governoring the country. The entire regime is still in power. Do some basic fact checking before you spew braindead talking points

If you followed actual history instead of twitter crap, you'd know this is how transitions take place. The 2nd in command (VP) is given orders on what to do and how to comply if she wants to helm the ship... and over the course of a designated window she still pretends Maduro is the President (he never was), 2nd wave comes in with the REAL damage. This isn't a right issue either - both parties have tried all kinds of things that led nowhere.

Ultimately, communists only exist to keep themselves in power-not serve the will of the people. 75% of whom voted for Maria.

And yes, the US will get oil related agreements to benefit from the trouble they went through to serve the will of the Venezuelan people.
