My preference is black, because when it's clean and waxed, it's the deepest looking color available. However, I recently have been intrigued by the white color because it stays cleaner longer. Black stays clean for like 20 min!! If anyone answers purple, we'll know we have a Rockets player who posts here.
I like purple - but I'm definitely not a Rockets player. Hell, I'm not even a Rockets Dancer! Seriously though, it can't be some bright fruity looking color, I like deep tones like midnight blue, emerald green, and dark purple. There's just too many black white silver or red cars - I like to see other colors. But they only look good on some cars, so that really limits my taste in cars too...
Usually it depends on the car, but overall I prefer Black or Maroon. Oh, and I really, really, really hate silver.
Right on. Black is a beautiful color for a vehicle. My last three vehicles were black. But to keep it looking nice is a part-time job already!
I want a pastel pink buggy In the meantime, I'm gonna stick with my maroon camry *I'm in the process of learning how to drive*
I love the silver on my Jeep Liberty...since "Jeep" is an old skool military name, I wanted either Green or the "Stainless Steel" look... But I agree that it depends on the vehicle...For example, in the future; my next one will likely be a BMW 535, but I won't get it in Silver...Probably Black...
I like dark toned colors. Like Metalic Blue, and Green. And then ofcourse black, which rules because it's easy to hide the dirt.
Not any black car I've had. I will never own a black car again...looks way too dirty way too fast. I prefer silver or the grayish color our Accord is.
you aint kiddin, my car is triple black (black outside, black leather, black interior) and when it is clean, it looks so tight, but that cleaness doesn't last long!
It depends on the make and model of the car. My Lexus is silver and I like the way it looks. The one color that I do not like on any car is tan/beige.
The pimp my ride colors have been bad ass. I like the Cinnamon and the Candy Apple Red they used recently. But it all depends on the car. Burnt Orange is cool too.
When I went shopping for new cars with my mom a few months ago, I pretended to be interested in the Mazda RX-8, just to get a test ride. I saw a burnt orange one and suddenly became REALLY interested, but later disheartened to find out they jack up the prices for that particular color by at least $3K!!!!!
Red- My 928, my International Harvester truck and my wife's Volvo T4 are all red. It is easy to keep clean and easy to sell. I can wash these vehicles every two weeks. Black- My Armada is black and it stays clean about 20 seconds. It is ridiculous. White- My commuter car Maxima is white and it shows dirt nearly as bad as the Armada. Again, the last time I get that color. I'd go with either red, silver or green. If you pick too light or too dark a shade, your vehicle will show serious dirt. Get something in-between like a red or yellow (my friend's yellow 911 never looked dirty, even when disgustingly so).
It's called "champagne", thank you very much. I'll never own another black/dark colored car in Texas, looks cool, but way too hot in the summer. BTW, great call on Michelangelo's Cafe in North Beach, awesome place.
Chump, So what do you do? The vehicle I'm contemplating purchasing is a black ext, black leather int. But like I said, my last three have been black, and after I wash/wax it, omg, it's simply beautiful. But that doesn't last very long. I've gotten to the point on my current vehicle, that I only wash it when it's incredibly dirty. That's why white intrigues me. White ext, accented by black, with black leather int. How often do you wash/wax yours?
What!?!? You're kidding me! I thought white hid dirt much better than black. I've never had a white vehicle, or know anyone who does, I was just guessing. Does your Maxima hide dust well?
I've had a black car for the past 3 years (black interior, exterior and roof). I get it washed and the interior cleaned every Saturday. I love the color on a car way too much to give it up.
My first car in high school was white and would show dirt badly. It was disheartening having to hand wash it every weekend. (Back when I was a lazy, good-for-nothing fat 18-year old slob whose only life goal was to eat his own weight in M&Ms)
