I need some suggestions of a nice and preferably, romantic vegetarian restaurant(or good selection of veggie dishes) to take my date out to tomorrow evening. Jeff, I know you're a vegetarian. What places do you suggest? Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions guys and gals! ------------------ "Clinton lied. The place u are looking for is Sierra Grill. I've never been there personally, but Ive heard its pretty awesome. Really romantic and wide variety of vegetarian dishes. Another place u might wanna try is "Dish". Its got the two major criteria you are searching for - Romantic and Vegetarian. Good luck trying to get reservations Pimp Daddy. ------------------ SUCK POLICE!!!!!! benjy's (in the village) - swanky new American, really amazing food. Try the grilled veg platter or veg pasta. I don't eat any animal products and I think this place rocks. Sawadee (off Weslayan/Stella Link) - Thai. They have a huge veg menu, and the food is really good. Recommend the veg panang or eggplant basil. Shiva (in the village) - Indian and spicy. Get a little booth along the back wall, chicken tikka masala (from my meat-eating days) and saag panner (creamed spinach). I actually know of a ton of other good places to eat, but they are mostly Asian and not terribly romantic. Good luck! ------------------ Brought to you by the letter M.
I'd say no Valentines is complete without a bite of PEACH! But seriously, Ahpook is right, Shiva's in the village has some wonderful ambience and great indian vegetarian food. I'd recommend that one. ------------------
Gotta agree with ahpook. Not many "romantic" vegetarian places in town. Just make sure whereever you go, they will provide veggie stuff for you even if it is just salad, a baked potato, etc. ------------------ Me fail English? That's unpossible.
