Which one? We're leaning towards the mountain course since it sounds like it'd be something we could never get here.

I played Badlands and Legacy. Both quality courses. Badlands is more of a desert style course than Legacy because there is so much brush. The scenery of the mountains at Badlands was a nice sight.

Legecy reminded me of a lot of golf courses in Houston due to its setup. Residences everywhere without much brush, where as Badlands made me feel I was in the western u.s.

I played both the Palm and the Mountain when I went to Vegas and I would reccomend the mountain course, but it is a lot harder, IMO, than the palm course.

Badlands is nice. The only drawback is playing on a course next to homes on some of the holes.

Stay away from Las Vegas National. It's a dump with a lot of past history. I was told by a local I played with once that the part of the movie Casino was shot at one of the homes on the course.

The best course I've played in Vegas is Painted Desert. Very, very nice. One of the biggest clubhouses I've ever seen.
