They were talking in Cantonese, so I think it was the game in Hongkong, against All America Star team

    I could be wrong.

Good to see he dunks whenever he gets the chance.

I was most impressed with the spin move to hook shot. If done correctly, that shot is virtually impossible to stop.

He looks like he has put some meat on those bones. I'm more concerned with his strength. All he needs to do is gain enough strength to create space between him and the defender so he can keep popping J's all night long.

HOw ever they are playing in the first video rally sucks. That PG could have scored easily, none of the defenders jumped. I dumped it to Yao for no reason. But I liked his dunk. And again...the defenders didnt move.

Looking forward for the 2004 season baby!

That second video was pretty sweat. NIce dish by the PG.

Dang...look at him bang all those guys around....

Uh, a lot of those clips had "bump" in the name. Good for Yao, getting physical. A couple of them could have been offensive fouls had the defensive guy played it up a little.

Does anyone know how he ended up in the game? Man, can Yao run the floor or what?

Thanks a lot for these... it was nice to see how Yao looks.

The problem is 50% of the people whisper into Yao's left ear that he needs to gain weights while the other 50% whisper into his right ear that he needs to lose weights.

Yao looked dominant playing against these scrubs. Now if he can do that against the real NBA talents...

He was playing against the Melbourne Tigers from Australia.
Not the best team in the Australian leauge but Bradke the guy Yoa was pushing around and dunking on has played in the NBA and Europe, Bradke is considered probaly the best big man in the Australian leauge even though he is old now.

Only the Yaolong2pointer one is incomplete. It's just 98KB for some reason.

Is it me or does Yao looks more atheletic, quicker footwork and higher jump on rebounds and dunks. Can somebody confirm this.

yao definetly looks bigger but i think hes lost some mobility, he doesnt really seem to jump as much for his shots, blocks or rebounds compared to last season, then again he is playing against an aging aussi team. hes slower but i dont know if its because of weight or because its just an exhibition game.

on the other hand im glad hes using that gigantic ass of his to bruise people. theres few things more demeaning than that.

oh yeah, and thanks for the clips! its a nice oasis in a dry offseason full of mirages...

To me, the most impressive part was him bumping Bradke out of the way for a dunk. If I remember correctly, Bradke is a seven footer who isn't a lightweight.

Hopefully that means that Yao won't be pushed around much this year.
