I'm undecided to who I think would win. De La Hoya - as much as he is a singer and all that he does out of the ring, has got incredible skilz and boxing style. You can't deny him just cuz hes a pretty boy Vargas - aw man, this guys is pissed at De La Hoya for being a punk and at his last and only loss earlier last year. Hes younger, maybe hungrier (I know he ain't richer!) and probably stronger. Oh yeah Oxnard holmes, for the raza and all the peeps on L.A....watch out esse!! Horale pay-per-view!
I will be rooting for Vargas (just for his Jim Rome smack...very funny stuff about De la Hoya..."he's my son"), but De La Hoya will be the definite favorite. Say whatever you want about his pretty-boy demeanor, or bad cd, but he is a great fighter. I think he pretty clearly beat Trinidad and lost a great fight to probably the best fighter in the world, Sugar Shane Mosley. Vargas is game and has some skills, but De La Hoya should carve him up and drop in the late rounds. Looking forward to this fight, in any case.
