Yeah, I'm sure most of you dont give a crap, but Jeff from Vandy and a couple others on this board are Vandy guys and this is a huge win.

Nice shooting by the Dores. Despite the two 4-minute periods where they scored nada, they held on and kept it close. Heck, they led most of the first half. Unlike other games in which we played KY in the past few years, we didnt collapse in the 2nd half.

Should be enough to get us back to #25 or at least close enough.

As much as I hate Vandy football, I love Vandy hoops. Nice to see them 14-4.

Wow, Vanderbilt is a REALLY good team this year. Freije is just amazing.

They should get better and I think will win the SEC at this rate, along with Miss. State.

It's weird to see SC at the top of the standings though.

Nice to see the 'Dores get a big win like this. I watched the Vandy-Kentucky game a couple of Saturdays ago when they (Vandy) lost in Lexington. I told my parents that I didn't think that Kentucky was that great and that Vandy would beat them in Nashville - good to see that it happened.:D

Now, if they could just win a conference game on the road...:(

Very glad to see my dores get a key win. This should give campus a nice atmosphere for a few days.

I think I'm the only current student on here, but I'm not positive about that. I'll be sure to pass extra congrats to the players this week after this win.

FYI.. Corey Smith is a Lamar product... It was a tough loss the other day against South Carolina, especially after he got ejected in the first half, but today makes me forget about South Carolina game a little.

Now let's win some on the road..

Vanderbilt has always been a tough place to play. Opposing coaches hate that the bences are behind the baseline instead of the side. Vanderbilt is the only team in the country with that setup.

Good thing you weren't at Coleman Coliseum. :(

Back to back loses at home the first time since '98.

    I'm a Vandy alum

Yeah, I watched them lose at Kentucky a few weeks ago, and the teams were pretty evenly matched. So this win is not too surprising. They are tough to beat at Memorial Coliseum and really needed this one. Now they have to show they can win on the road or no NCAA this year.

    Go Dores

Definitley a huge win... I agree with you guys - we got to start to win some games on the road.

It would be nice if more of their games were on TV down here in Houston...

I was so psyched to get Langhi on the Rox; that was a massive disappointment. But still, I would love Freije.

the first vandy person I EVER met was langhi.. senior year in high school at rockets practice at the time I was deciding where to go to school at... despite his play I still came here ...

Freije I would LOVE TO see the rockets draft... I think he has talent at the next level... a lot of people don't know about him because he obviously isn't on tv a whole lot...

glad to see the rockets have interest..
