Here are Van Gundys 3 options as I see them...

Rockets - He will have to move from the tri-state area he has lived in for 15 years. He will have to move his family including his daughter. Does anyone know how old his daughter is? I say the older she is the harder it will be for them to move.

    Chron reports...

The Rockets are more likely to offer a salary worth somewhere between the $4 million per season Paul Silas received in Cleveland and the $5 million Brown accepted from the Pistons.

Wizards-Closer to the tri-state area. Perhaps will not need to move his family. Offering way more money and rumored 2% ownership.

    Chron reports...

Van Gundy has options. He met with Wizards officials Wednesday, and league sources said Larry Brown had been offered a package in Washington worth $35 million over five years.

This means the Wizards could be offering him $7 million a year?!?!

TNT-I've heard broadcasting is also a likely option for him. Probably the last resort because he seems to have the desire to coach going on all these tours and interviews. If he just wanted a cushy job, Id say he'd stick with broadcasting. It seems to be a much easier job. I do not know how much this job pays.

I guess we also shouldnt rule out the rumor of the opening in Portland

7 or 8 shouldnt be too bad.
a teenager would be more of a problem.

Yeah, as you noted, she's 7 or 8...what you didn't note was SHE'S JEFF VAN GUNDY'S DAUGHTER! Have you seen the guy!?!?!? WHat are the odds that his offspring will ever be called hot, unless actually on fire at the time?

Geez, Van Gundy's daughter might not even have hair. Is Van Gundy's wife ugly? I've heard two negitives make a positive.
