Didn't know that he was offered the Rice Job.

 

I actually held a theory he'd succeed Wilson at Rice. I guess he'll stick with ESPN for a while until his daughters get older, or he can coach the Comets.

 

He wasn't offered the Rice job. He was just asked by Melton if he would be interested in it (probably because he goes to a lot of the games).

Man, he sure blasted Rice for firing Wilson.

I'm going to keep saying it. If JVG coached the Hawks they will be in the ECF in 2 seasons. So much athleticism and talent on that squad but with no direction. That team would be scary with him running the show.
