Just for fun I thought of how Jeff Van Gundy would have responded to the loss against the Jets and Duante Robinson:

I thought of him opening the press conference this way-
" Aside from not playing defense and looking lost on offense I thought our overall effort was mediocre"

    or

"Duante? His mind isn't on football so we'll let him sit and think next week"

Just for fun any other ideas if Van Gundy was coaching the Texans? :)

It's Dunta. I know that's not how it should be spelled, but that's how he spells it.

JVG would go all defense, ball control "O" and great special teams...that would never work in the NFL...Oh Wait ????

I promise you he'd be far more honest in his press conferences than Kubiak's, "it's all my fault" week in and week out.

    He would definitely criticize effort.

If I had any photoshop skills I'd do a picture of JVG hanging on to Sanchez's leg for dear life...but, I don't have the time or energy to do so!

teams should just hire JVG to do their postgames, regardless of sport.

I think his press conference would have opened this way-

" We didn't block or tackle anyone, hell some of the white uniforms didn't get dirty" :D

    I doubt it.
    It would be more

"It's my fault that the Defense could not hold water. . . I should have prepared them better
It's my fault that My offensive Schemes were not ran . . . I should have drilled them harder
I need to teach the linemen my blocking schemes better. . . "

    The typical . . I'm-not-blaming-the-players-but-I-am-Van-Gundy-stuff

The Texans would be out of timeouts 2 minutes into each half. :D

JVG gets dragged the length of the football field by official Ed Hocules while disputing a call.

We would lose 5-7 and the first thing out of van Gundy's mouth would be a raspy, "today we just didn't play the kind of defense that's good enough to win games in the NFL."
