I have 2nd pick in my draft tonight.
Considering that I live in NYC, I think I would rather draft Tiki Barber just so I have a reason to watch the G-men on a weekly basis. Because otherwise, they bore the crap outta me.

The guy at #4 is willing to trade up, he wants Alexander or LT. However, what should he give me to move up? It would have to be a later swap of picks. We have a 10 league snake draft.

Considering I think Barber's going to have a sub-par year (by his standards), I wouldn't trade down.

I also think Tiki is due for a decline, so I wouldn't move either. It's a tremendous advantage having a top 3 pick this year.

In that case, do you guys agree that LT and SA are greater than LJ considering the state of the KC O-line? I'm hoping for LT at #2.

I'm guessing you'll get him there. Most of what I've seen has either LJ or Alexander going first. There was an audible gasp when LT was taken first in our pay league Saturday (even though that's probably what I would've done).

I think there are positives and negatives to each of those three. IMO, the one negative ("rookie" QB in San Diego) is the least direct to the RB. In Seattle and KC you have offensive line and/or new coaching questions as well which I believe are more related to the running game than simply a first-time starting QB.

They all have question marks. LT faded down the stretch last year and has a history of getting nicked up; plus he'll have a rookie QB running the team. LJ lost one of his linemen and has a new coach, albeit one who is known for being a run-first guy. Alexander has the Madden Curse.

Alexander is probably the safest choice. However, they are all good bets to finish at the top of their class in 2006 and you should be happy with either one.
