Hey, so I need some 'creative' ideas of what to make/get my girlfriend this year. Last yr, besides the off-the-market gift I also made her this present. I cut out 51 hearts out of construction paper, wrote 51 things on it, folded them, attached a hershey kiss to each one and put 'em in a bucket that said " 51 things i love about u" I am looking for ideas to do something thoughtful like that. any ideas?
make her a card that says something like.. 'you bring out the animal in me.....and most of the time its a woodpecker.'
hmmmmm......Girls are easy. It doesn't have to be handmade as long as its thoughtful. The best gifts are the ones that prove your man listens or knows you well. I think my favorite gifts are the ones that are something I really wanted or love the show how much you care with out being cookie cutter gifts. I.e for Christmas this year my favorite gift came from my dad who got my pearls just because I made an off hand comment two years ago about my moms pearls being awesome, or my fiance getting me a stuffed elephant because I told him that when I was little I used to think having an elephant would keep me safe. So really its about listening to her and getting or making her something she likes. Even just writing her a letter to tell her why you love her so much would be a great present. But I could give you better ideas if I knew what she was like.
My boyfriend gave me chocolate, a coupon book (things like "Good for one full body massage, etc), and an adorably sweet letter. Touched my heart so much. Girls love sweet, handwritten letters.
It only worked cuz it was special. Now if it was just random then it wouldn't have worked so well, silly.
