Unless UT pulls a major choke job, they are now guaranteed a spot in the Rose Bowl. I'm not surprised Va Tech will lose to Miami, but to totally crumble at home against a rival is amazing. FYI: I'm just looking at the box score.

simply put: VA TECH= EXPOSED!!!!! they got totally dominated tonight by a team that lost their top 2 impact players at halftime in hester and tyrone moss. and all that crap about marcus vick being as good as, or better than vince young or matt leinart, that got EXPOSED tonight too. he led his team to 1 TD and had 6 turnovers all by himself! he has yet to win a big game, and that one against BC doesn't count considering they lost to UNC today and wont be ranked any longer... Texas in the Rose Bowl playing for the National Championship, can it be any sweeter???

I'm a Va Tech fan, so I didn't want them to lose... just cause. And I didn't want them to lose, because now we will have another year of the BCS format for sure.
Many of us predicted this awhile back when everyone got on the VaTech bandwagon after the GaTech massacre. Miami was clearly the better team against FSU except for the awful QB play and mental mistakes. Their team speed is outstanding and Tyronne Moss is a very explosive back. Even without him for most of the game, they still completely demolished a very overrated VaTech team.
IT'S GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Campus was NUTS...most incredible atmosphere for an away game ever. WOW!!! Now I'm headed over at 4:30 to meet the team when they arrive. WOW!!!
Just one game?!?! VT not only lost any chance at a national championship, they also lost ANY chance at the ACC. MIAMI -- 2005 ACC CHAMPS You can count on it. This is even more exciting for me because now it opens up the option for an Alabama-Miami Sugar Bowl in ATL...I don't even know who I would cheer for! (Of course that won't happen. No, Alabama won't lose, but Texas will ).
Glad to see Miami actually has a legitimate fan...now if only there were more like you so you could actually pack that Orange Bowl a few times a season....
Alabama couldn't score an offensive touchdown on Miss State and they're going to beat LSU? I don't think so. LSU will be the SEC champs. Book it.
