    where are the boxing fans?

Anyone watched vitali destroyed kirk johnson the other day? Granted johnson looked fat, but I think vitali performance was still quite impressive.

Do you think lennox will fight him again?

on another note, that was the first time I saw joe mesi. What's up with all the hype around him? He looks at best average. I watched monte barrett before and I dont' even think he's that good. And monte could have won the fight, if he wasn't so scared of mesi power in teh beginning.

I missed the fight. I was never a fan of Kirk Johnson, he never looked good enough to fight the top fighters. Klitschko showed that he could bang with the best of them during his last fight with Lennox. I really want to see a rematch between those two.

Klitschko was very impressive Saturday night.

I do not believe there will ever be a rematch between Lewis and Klitschko. If Lewis saw the fight Saturday, he is probably more apt to retire now more than ever.

From what I read in USA Today last week, Lennox isnt all that eager for a rematch with Vitali. I would like to see it though. Kirk Johnson was a bit heavy for the fight but no excuse for the way he got creamed.

As much as I'd like to see it, Lewis will not step into the ring with Klitschko again. Klitschko clearly has the power to take out Lewis, who has never really proven that he can take a punch, remember Rahman landing the one big punch to take him out, the same thing happened early in his career against Oliver McCall. Although Klitschko was bloodied up after the first fight, Lewis was constantly getting hurt, and it looked like Vitali was one punch away from the heavyweight title. Lewis just has too much to lose to fight again.

Klitschko was so much larger than Johnson, I dare say the fight was uneven. Klitschko wailed on Johnson, his eye was pretty red after the first round. I new KJ couldn't take much of the beating VK laid down on him... it was brutal. VK is just one huge guy! Good fight.

Damn my memory sucks. Was it Lewis vs. Vitaly and the fight was stopped even though Lewis was struggling pretty bad. And then after the fight he was talking crap about Vitaly. I'd love to see Lewis lose after that. I forgot about that, but before I didn't have anything against Lewis. He's probably too much of a p***y for a rematch.

When Lennox retires the Heavyweight division will be absolutely pathetic (not that Lennox was anything special). Joe Mesi has fought a couple of chumps and almost got beaten by one on saturday and yet he is hyped like he is the next great thing since Ali.
As for KJ vs VK, i was looking forward to this fight until i saw KJ disrobe. After that it was pretty obvious he had no business being in that ring.

I want to see a Lewis - Klitschko rematch, but I think if Lewis trains harder than he did for the first fight he will destroy Klitschko again (Yes Lewis brutalized him the 1st fight). I think of all the combinations a Lewis - Roy Jones fight might be the most interesting.

On another note I want to see Tyson get his lazy arse in shape one more time for a fight with Roy Jones. This would be one of the biggest fights of all time and obviously R. Jones wants it badly $$$.

Also, watch out for the up and coming James Toney he beat up a washed up Holyfield and needs one more big fight to be legit - either Rahman or Tua would be a quality fight for Toney to enter the big time.

I'd root for Klitschko, but I think Lewis would beat him.

It is kind of ridiculous that some of these fighters who get paid millions of dollars and fight like once a year and they won't train hard.
Like Kirk, does he rather get beat up like that in the ring in front of so many people than just friggin train for a few months?
The way he loooks on saturday, he probably still loses. But maybe at least he can give vk a stratch, so it will look like vk has just fought somebody.

That's why I kind of like klitschko.. at least he comes in shape and he looks ready. It is all about respect. Lennox is the champ, and he should have come ready and in shape whoever he faced 6 months ago, and he should take the rematch with klitschko if he is a real champion. And he better comes ready to fight.
