Utah is going to miss the Fish

I think we stand a better chance of beating Utah in a future series because they lost Fisher. Without him I think we would have beaten them last year.

Yeah, Boozer had nothing to do with it.

Fisher is giving us headache in the guard match ups because of his size and the size of our anchovy guards.

I think we'll beat the Jazz tomorrow.

    or Deron going to Rafer:
    Deron: You're my *****
Rafer: Wait I need to get some lube
Deron: NO!, I'm nasty that way.

Did you guys see the highlights from the Utah and GSW game last night? That team is mad scary now. AK47 is BACK. Ronnie Brewer and Milsap playing extremely well. I really dont think we'll be ready for them by Thursday.

Ronnie Brewer played really well in the preseason. The lovefest for him on this board at the #8 pick a couple years ago is turning out to be pretty accurate. I hate to compliment the Jazz, but Brewer is going to be a major asset to them this season.

Deron Williams made Ellis look like a fool last night...he's gonna crush Rafer.

Last season, Fish was the equivalent to what Rafer was here. He was ripped up and down by Jazz fans all season. He stunk it up pretty bad. What he did against us in the playoffs shouldn't fool anybody. The few times I saw the Jazz play in the regular season last year, Fish was terrible and looked washed up. If the Jazz had another decent backcourt player to back up or pair with Deron Williams, Fish wouldn't have even been in their rotation.

fish is good, i always liked him since Shaq+kobe championship era,
i have no idea why Utah let fish swims away to L.A. so easily.

I wish we would have fisher a few years ago when he was a free agent.

Well, Fisher moved back to LA, mainly because there are better medical facilities here for his baby girl.

Fisher has always hit bigtime shots against the Rockets from my twisted point of view be it the former Lakers, G.S., Utah or last night. They ARE weaker without him but it will depend on who we put on AK47 to slow him down. He's proven his confidence can be shaken if he gets in a slump like he was in the first few games of the playoffs against the Rocks last year.

It would have been a nice luxury to have Butler's big (wide) body leanin' on Boozer for 6 fouls and makin' Boozer work for anything he gets.

Of course. I visited Jazzhole fan forum after April quite often, doing some scouting work for our playoffs. Jhole fans hated him, calling him all sorts of things, mainly because he was too trigger-happy, and a defensive liability. Then I started hearing Jazz commentators calling him out on TV too, and Utah papaer poured on.

For most of the nights, Lakers are going to hate Fisher. And nights like last night, when he shot well, wont be many.

Yes, Boozer and Deron Williams were/are the main reasons for any success the Jazz have. But I think anyone who thinks the Jazz could have beaten us in that series without Derek Fisher is kidding themselves. He was huge for them and he's always been a Rocket killer. I was thrilled to see him leave the Jazz.

I agree Ronnie Brewer looks good and is going to be an asset for them, but he doesn't have the record of clutch playoff shots that Fisher has, nor does he have any real playoff experience whatsoever. He may well prove me wrong, but I doubt he'll be nearly as effective as Fisher was in the playoffs.

I don't think we can beat them 2moro, especially in their home court, I think the chance we can beat them tmoro is less than 30%

I'm sorry but Fisher did not make the Jazz much better.

Had AK47 not been crying and Mehmet Okur been off of his game we would have lost to the Jazz in 5 or 6 games with or without Fisher.

Unfortunately I did catch some of Utah's game last night and if we can at least keep the game close I'll be happy.

I love the Rockets but they really need more time before we get to see just how good they can be. But if they do take care of bizness against the jazz tomorrow night then I'll be thrilled!
