I just thought this would be fun to see...I read a couple posts hating on jazz and it just brought back those memories in our last postseason exit, and all those other battles we've fought..our optimus prime against them(hakeem) left..so who's everyone's most hated jazz player all-time??
i am not picky, i hate the utah jazz period. i hate how they flop and get the calls even after malone and stockton are gone.
The only reason after 16 votes, stockton has none is because you can only vote once, but he is a sure 2nd.
I know stockton's gonna get lots of hate on this board... but look at his career objectively, he was really really good. They don't really make players like that anymore.
Yea he is a one-of-a-kind player, and I give him props for that..comparing him to the guards that play these days, it's pretty incredible that he played so long...still glad he didn't win a championship though
another year, another Jazz hating thread. It's nice to see some thing never change. You might appreciate the godfather of Jazz hating by reading thru this thread... http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=28592 enjoy.
I STILL see red when I remember how karla (so much hatred he doesn't even deserve a capital letter) set that moving screen as Stockton beat the buzzer.
I couldn't vote for anyone in particular since I dislike anyone on the Jazz but I dislike Malone and Stockton the most for their antics on the court.
Utah grudge club? What a weak thread title... Hornacek is definitely my third most hated Jazz player of all time. That god-didley freak-doodley damn running jumper in the lane...Hit that EVERY.....FREAKING....TIME...
i voted for stockton. i hated the jazz like every sane rockets fan. When i played basketbal, my coach was a big Jazz fan so every time somebody did something good the coach would say something like: that as a play like stockton would do it i had some discusions with him about our favorite team. that wasn't very good for my playing time but he was the biggest stockton fan. i hate him this much bacause he was that good. why couldn't he just play bad when he was about 40, he just wouldn't play bad.
I respect the Jazz because they play the kind of fundamentally sound basketball that I love to watch and participate in myself. Having said that I think Karl Malone is a whiny pu$$y, Stockton is a turd, and Harpring is a lucky SOB with no skills who was lucky enough to land in the only place in the NBA thats more racist than Boston. Ok I got that off my chest.
Hilarious I hold no grudge. There were great match-ups in the 90's which made for good basketball. The Jazz match-up doesn't seem quite as gut-wrenching, now that Young Drago's running the show.
