Just thought I'd get a thread started since I know there's alot of Longhorn fans, as well as a few CU fans here. CU is up 7-0 at the end of the first, after returning one of 2 Vince Young interceptions for a TD.
If I'm UT, I give it to Cedric every stinking play. Vince is just a liability when he puts it in the air.
Another 3 and out for the Texas Defense. A score right before the half here would be great- the 'Horns are dominating the game, but it goes to show how damaging it can be to turn over the ball! Bigtexxx is correct- this drive here should be all about keeping the ball on the ground, though I wouldn't mind a play action deep ball.
Young’s passing really isn’t that bad today. Those interceptions were just dumb decisions, especially the second. But he is 7/12 with two drops.
Nice.....That Colorado D must be worn out by now. I think UT has now run at least 20-25 more offensive plays than CU, and a big chunk of those are obviously running plays. Nice to see that the running game is really warming up, and I think that'll loosen up the Buffs defense for some second have chances through the air.
This Texas team would KILL Oklahoma. Why, oh why did they run such a conservative game plan out there against OU. Now that we are running the option, and a QB keeper to the wide side with Benson as the lead blocker, Vince is beginning to blossom. The were playing "not to lose" against OU, and now they are playing to win. I see UT running the table....and OU possibly losing to T A&M, in case of a 3 way tie between OU, UT, and A&M, who goes to the championship game? DD
The same thing happens every year. UT suddenly 'remembers' how to play, AFTER the OU game. The caliber of the defenses/opposing coaching staffs may have something to do with it.
I love finding the drunk posts on Sunday morning. Highly entertaining. By the way - UT is only the shiznit when they score on their opponents, something they can't always do.
Thanks... I love reading my drunk posts on Sunday morning... friggin day light savings time... wtf is that?
