Texas loses to a small, private school... Reminds me of Omaha.

Well that ruined my bracket, I had UT winning the thing.

UT just seemed like they couldn't shoot well enough. They just kept dumping it down low and klotz had a horrible game.

gotta love watching klotz, buckman, and tucker shoot so atrociously inside it wasn't even funny and watching them end our seniors' careers.

gotta love the refs. we get in the penalty first in the first half. then we're in it first in the second half. then they foul our best player, mouton, out with an unbelievable touch foul 30 feet from the basket and a minor bump after a steal. but hey, they could redeem themselves and call the foul on boddicker's 3 he missed. nope. i mean he swished the one right before that, then swished the one right after it, and it looked like a guy hit him on the arm, but it must've not been a foul. i mean, the refs were calling ticky-tack stuff on both sides all night but completely crush us in the last few minutes. and then there was x fouling us on our last chance at a rebound and not calling it which led to barnes finally boiling over and getting tossed.

also loved sydmill's shot at the end. brilliant!

it's been a great 4 years from our seniors and mouton played great in this game, sad to see it all end. especially like this.

at least we didn't lose by about 30 in the NIT to wisconsin-milwaukee or some team like that.

Cool, I hope we have Xavier on our schedule next year, then. That'll be an easy three wins.

Exactly. Hey, he's not trolling. It's not like he posted this on Hornfans. Just expressing an opinion. :)

(and BrianKagy's comeback was pretty good too... even though I'm not much of a UT fan and find it amusing when they lose)

Thanks for the memories JT, Royal with Cheese, Mouton and Boddicker. Good luck wherever you go.

At least your last game wasn't in the NIT.

Texas was overated all year, they won ugly.

They needed someone to set up the shooters, and they never found their rythmn.

umm, based on what? we were ranked 11th in the polls.

our rpi was 10 and we finished somewhere between 9 and 16, losing in the round our ranking says we should've. sounds like we were ranked just about right.

man, if TJ had been here, you could take one of those ones off our ranking.

Jason Klotz is my boy, I've known him since 2nd grade. But it hurt to see him struggle like that. Especially since he'd been playing pretty well the last month or so.

Anyway Texas is supposed to be re-loading next year. I hope LaMarcus Aldridge at least decides to spend one year in school. Daniel Gibson should solidify the point guard spot too.
