Congrats to the Horns. You guys deserve it. FWIW, Syracuse lost to UCONN a couple weeks ago 80-67, just to put things in perspective.
Congrats. Maybe: 1. Your players will actually want to beat Syracuse. 2. Your coaches actually tell the players what a 2-3 zone is and how to beat it.
I rooted for UT all the way till now. I have Syracuse in my bracket winning it all. So gotta jump off the bandwagon. Both Syracuse and UT looked great today should be a epic game next week.
Phew. Two weeks ago I'd made a drunken promise to Chievous and another friend of mine that if Syracuse (Chievous' team) or OU (my friend's team) made it to the Final Four and Texas didn't, they could have my ticket. What sucks is I have plans next Saturday night (my Mom's surprise 50th birthday party - God I hope you're not reading this Mom!)... Now if only I can get through the entire evening without hearing from a single sole the outcome of the game before I get to my taped copy awaiting my arrival at home after the party!!!! Ugh... The year my alma mater makes the Final Four and I have freakin' plans. ****in' ay that sucks!

UT, like OU, will struggle against the 2-3 zone, since the Big 12 is 90% man-to-man. How quickly UT can solve the 2-3, will determine the game.

Well my dad nearly blew the surprise. He asked me when the next game was (with my mom in the same room). I said "next saturday night" and he said "uh-oh what are you going to do, how are you going to watch it?" My mom gave him the most perplexed look and deadpanned "umm.. on tv?" I gave him the hardest nudge he's ever received.
Would it be considered rude to have headphones on at the party and listen to the game on the radio? I mean, you can still pretty much hear what people are saying when they are talking to you.

Hell yeah! TJ Ford is the perfect college basketball player. To be honest, I wasn't sure they had what'd take. But... damn... this is great! I'm not sure if I'd want the Rockets to hire Rick Barnes... or if I'd rather him stay at Texas.
It's perfectly acceptable to wear headphones and listen to the game during the party. It's not like family members can be caught saying anything interesting most of the time anyways so I'm sure they'll understand why you're ignoring them.
