man, if we had blown that 14 point lead i would've driven myself crazy thinking about it for the next few days. thank goodness uconn can't shoot free throws. nice to see mouton come to the party. now if we can get TJ to figure out how to shoot we'll be ok. i wanna say we should root for mich st., but i don't know much about them so maybe we shouldn't.
I can't believe we didn't recruit that guy. Think about him and TJ. UNSTOPPABLE!!! Good win, we were goin crazy over at San Jac. Mouton stepped up with 27. A career high! Glad he showed up today or we would have been screwed.
Oh and I proposed tonight too. So that was pretty cool. I went to UT and her whole family is from Connecticut. IN YOUR FACE! Will you marry me? ELIE 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No, we didnt go after him, we only had two scholarships. One went to TJ, the other went to Chris Wright, who's been out two seasons with a bum knee or something. Haha, did she say yes? If she did, congrats
Of course she said yes... after I stopped my taunting. I was gonna maker her spell the vowels of T-E-X-A-S F-I-G-H-T but decided not to push my luck.
Damn Maryland, wish they would have went further, had them in final four and i really like Blake thought he was a tremendous player, major props to Tom Izzo and Mich. St.
Anyone spot Greg Popovich in the crowd? Wonder who he was rooting for... Bout time Mouton plays well in a big game. Go Longhorns!!!!!!
Just got home about 20 minutes ago. Started out as a hectic day. By the time we left Austin, it was almost 5PM. Got a bad report from my friend, who was stuck in traffic on I-35 in New Braunfels, so we drove through Dripping Springs, through the country instead. Excellent route, no traffic, and arrived at the Alamodome at precisely 6:30. Bought tix for $45 each from some greasy ticket scalpers and rushed to the doors. The atmosphere was great. Every school had its own section, but about 80% was burnt orange. I sat in Section 101, dead center midcourt, a couple of rows above the entrances. Awesome seats, especially considering we had no business being there. Just sat down like we belonged. Met Magic Johnson at halftime, and got to take a picture with him. He was being hounded so nobody could really hold a conversation with him. Also, to a lesser extent, saw Steve Smith, Kevin Willis, and Stephen Jackson. To those people who left early, the MSU-UMD game turned out to be pretty badass. Excellent ending. The best part was gauging the Maryland fans after their game, scavenging them for tickets. Ended up buying for everyone. In all, 7 tickets for $145 for Sunday's game. After the games, headed down to the Riverwalk for some drinks. Threw down a few Shiners at "Swig" Martini Bar, then headed for home at about 1:20 AM. Awesome night. And I'll be back in San Anton' on Sunday. Hook 'Em.
