    ...in History.
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060417....BxFb8C;_ylu=X3oDMTA5aHJvMDdwBHNlYwN5bmNhdA--

"David M. Oshinsky, a professor of American history at the University of Texas, Austin, was awarded the history prize for "Polio: An American Story."

Excellent News. Aside form the spike in sales that a Pulitzer affords, having a UT-Austin professor recognized further illuminates the academic excellence of UT-Austin.

badass- my roommate took Oshinsky's class and said he was a pretty good professor. Glad to see UT's academia getting some pub/cred.

Oh no, a slight mishap and I left off an "n" and all the longhorn/horn wannabe grammar nazis come out to play. Guess if I donated, I could have gone back and edited my post just for y'all. Back to work boys, Vince Young's footsteps need more kisses.

It's cool, I'm not overly sensitive, so long as it stays friendly and not personal, I don't have a problem. I just thought it was a weak rebuttal to come w/ grammar smack. I'm sure 90% of the posts have at least one error in them; it happens.

Do you not get it? You were talking down about someone's intellectual abilities. In said post about intellect, you made a grammar mistake. It's not hard to see the irony.

I went to A&M and root for the Aggies as much as the next Aggie, but I found this hilarious.

    I've never seen it before.

I think the Longhorn/Aggie rivalry is another reason Texas is a great state to live in. They are both very well ranked schools. I think UT is 52 this year and A&M is 60 according to US News and World Report's rankings. I think they both do fantastic research and development. It is just neat.

I just with Aggie football didn't suck so much right now.

It seems like both programs have their cycles of goodness at different time. I'd like to see both teams do well and have the final game of the season mean something.

Halfbreed, I get it, got it a long time ago. Point being, I don't think my typo translates to a 6 on the Wunderlich though.

    P.S. Torbush sucks

The typo doesn't translate to 467 either. :)
