Anyone see that game today? It was great. The Horns are a blast to watch this year; running the court and physical.

I don't know why, but I get nervous watching them play. What's that about? Maybe everytime I have watched them on TV before they lost.

    But not today. :)

What about the final 1:30 taking about 20 minutes?? GW was still fouling with less than 20 seconds on the clock. Such a fast-paced, fun game screwed up at the end by intentional fouls. It's torture. I understand why they did it, it's just a shame to ruin the end like that.

There's a reason you get nervous watching them - theyre nerve wracking.

It's intentional - all out hustle, defense, rebounding, passing etc.

They have 1 superstar and a bunch of overacheiving team players.

Are they really the #2 team in the country? probably not. But they play hard and as a cohesive unit and with a great PG like TJ Ford, this team will win a lot of games. Plus this team has a lot of depth which wears down teams who have great starters but no bench. The only thing this unit needs is a consistent go to scorer.

Im glad theyre playing a lot of tough nonconference games. Unlike football, the regular season is just practice - a few losses wont kill you.

You guys have something to really be proud about there in Austin.

Here's to hoping that A&M can continue the improvement so that we can have many memorable games with you guys in the future.

Congrats on what is strting out to be a really good season for you.

    Regards,

    An Aggie

Here is why you get nervous: IT"S U freakin' T! I live and love UT like it was my offspring. But I anticipate the choke in every sport. Although they came through in baseball...

No **** man. Major and I were at the last two games of the CWS, and I probably watched less than half of the Stanford game as my face was in my hands for the vast majority of it.

I'll say I'm a much saner man for not being able to watch the Tech game, too.

    Damn it.

I've only seen the first UT bball game of the year! I missed yesterday's b/c I had to watch Miami v. Va. Tech. I will miss today's to watch the Broncos v. Jets match up.

my love of football supersedes all, which is causing me to miss UT bball games. This sucks.

The BB&T Final is on at 2:30 pm; I think 622 on Directv or 13 on Warner cable in Austin. Women's Soccer is on ESPN then.

If Texas wins this game vs. Notre Dame, they deserve every bit of their #2 ranking. Notre Dame is playing and shooting lights out. Everyone for Texas except for Sydmill Harris is sucking, and yet Texas is within 3 in the 2nd half (after being down by 13). This is a crazy 3-pt shooting contest.

This is actually the prevalent attitude in Austin. If it stays this way Barnes will probably be gone pretty quick and UT basketball will return to its 'glory days'. You'd think after all the underachieving the football team does that people would be hungry for some basketball. Guess not.

Are you intentionally a jackass, or does it come accidentally?

That was one the best BB games I've seen. Too bad we had to come out on the wrong end. Teams combined to go 27-52 from 3pt land. Wow.
