USPS shipping question

    I need to mail out some parcels in the next few days via USPS. I wanted to know whether or not the USPS allows boxes which have advertising on the side of them? Like for example a box that says TIVO on the outside?

    I know if I was shipping via Media Mail, they don't allow advertising on the outside covers of the box, but what about First Class Mail parcel shipment.

    I looked it up on the USPS website, but it doesn't say anything about this.

    I tried calling the USPS phone number, but I can't connect to a live person.

    Help?

    I don't think it matters. Just put duct tape over the logo if it worries you that much.

    they do not like duct tape at all.

    Just marker through it like an X or cross it out. They do not care. I recycle boxes all the time.

    This. I just put black marker through the advertising and I've never had a problem.

    I remember seeing pics of somebody mailing something is a Fruit Gushers box one time.

    It's fine.....you just can't use a FedEx or UPS box, other then that it's fine.

    What others have said. I mail out packages with a marker through the Amazon logo on the side all the time. They don't care.
