hey guys question. I tracked an important package that was sent via USPS priority w/delivery confirmation. I put the numbers in at usps.com and it said the package was delivered (SAT). It's not in my box. I think no one in my complex got any kind of mail on Sat. Did the post office just flake out because of the MLK weekend? And why do they say it's delivered if it really isn't? deregulate now.
Some pieces of mail need to be signed. Maybe you weren't there for a signature? (I'm not sure how signatures work on US mail confirmations in an apartment complex).
no sig. required. I live in a duplex...melrose style apt with a central community mailbox. They leave all packages at the box. I'm thinking they scan it before they deliver and they just didn't deliver on saturday because they got lazy...
UTweezer, I actually had this same problem with someting that was shipped to me a few weeks ago. The site said it was delivered but I didnt have it. I called USPS, and they said that means it was delivered to your post office, but not necessarily to you. My package ended up showing up the next day or so.
