OU rolls. They are eager to correct what happened to them last year. I would be pretty scared if I were SC.
I think OU is going to roll...I do think USC is a nice team, but OU will be just too much... They have Auburn -6.5, which I think they can cover...It should have been the Utes vs. Auburn...
It should have been auburn versus oklahoma. The only reason usc is in the game is because of what happened last year. USC is going to get rolled like California did.
I think y'all are really underestimating USC. Just because Cal laid an egg doesn't mean it is going to happen to USC. I feel that OU is overrated, personally. It should be a great game but I think USC wins.
I just can't decide who I want to win this game. It would look really good for the Big 12 if Oklahoma just steamrolled the Trojans. At the same time, being from Texas it's hard to root for Oklahoma to win a national championship. Kinda like the sugar bowl tonight....if Va Tech wins, Texas would most likely finish the year ranked 3rd. An Auburn win would bump Texas down to 4th, but would keep the BCS controversy going.
Well there was a split national title last year....LSU won the BCS crown, USC got the AP national title. More than likely the winner of the Orange Bowl will finish the year #1 in both polls, but if Auburn wins they will still have a great argument that they deserved to be playing in the championship game. I think if any team from a major conference goes undefeated and doesn't get even the chance to play for the title, it exposes the system as seriously flawed.
Nope. They would keep playing overtimes until someone won. I think by the 3rd overtime, both teams have to go for 2 points.
USC has more talent at the skill positions but something tells me OK. OK is tested from playing a few more tough games and seeing USC squeak by VaTech early this year (questionable pass interference call) and seeing Cal get destroyed tells me that USC may not be as good as their talent indicates.
As of noontime cst the line has now changed to OU -1 with the over/under dropping to 52. I think Vegas will see a late surge of SoCal money as post time nears. USC - 31 OU - 24
