    I don't think Howard fully grasps the concept of international goal tending. Just because you can take it of the rim doesn't mean goal tending doesn't exist.

    Refs are being way too quick with the whistle.

    In other news, the USA team is infinitely better with Jason Kidd on the bench.

    Anybody notice how Spain's uniform looks just like the ESPN logo without the N?

    Just tossing that out there.

    Spain's not playing badly but the US is just murdering them with athleticism

    Game going pretty much as I expected. Maybe not score wise (thought it would be closer) but it's obvious that team USA miles better than all the other teams.

    the refs only seem to have eyes for team USA's touch fouls. they can try to tackle lebron and not get a foul called (although we got a dunk out of it).

    Very astute observation, Sam. Actually, "Spain" in Spanish is spelled "España", so they just abbreviate it "ESP", which are the first three letters. Also the first three letters of ESPN. There you go.

    Would like to see Boozer down low at this point. When Kidd is in, every opponent should just go into a zone.
