I don't think that's accurate for USA vs Serbia. I think I remember a pop up during the USA/Germany match that said USA vs Serbia would be on Friday at 7 pm est.
Just check the official website USA do play Serbia on Friday Aug. 6th but ESPN will show a TAPE DELAY of it at 7pm ET. Sun will be live on ABC at 2pm ET
exactly which part of American machismo is tied to basketball? lose by a bunch. win by a last second shot against a non-factor. is it that the world has caught up or passed us by? we can take refuge, in the undeniable fact ,that our best players remain at home ... but these games ask some pertinent questions about American basketball.
the question in the latter part of that sentence comes from the former part of the sentence. the question is "where are tmac, garnett, shaq, and kobe?" if they were here, this doesn't happen.
As far as international sports go, it true that we're already ranked 7th in the world in soccer? I pay absolutely no attention to the sport, but I heard it from a couple of friends that I'm not sure really know what they're talking about.
The US is ranked 7th in the World, people should start appreciating US Soccer, obviously a small talent pool producing big results, support those dudes. Now does anyone know where an on-line game cast could be found of the US vs Serbia game? It starts in about 10 minutes...

This is gona be a good game, a really good test for team USA, i cant wait! Theres no other bball games on tv so this is the highlight of the week for me & all the other games are on at 1 pm and im allways at work during that time.

USA won but didn't impress me,did some minor stupid turnovers but they controlled the game. R.Jefferson got outfouled and Duncan got 4 fouls...... I have one question: is the shotclock 24 or 30 in international basketball because in this game I think it was 24 seconds.. More on the game: Odom had a nice second half and Lebron James did a nice dunk at the end of the second quarter, he also had a block in the third. USA got some problems in the second half and Serbia got plenty of free throws but couldn't knock them all.....
not that it matters after Ghettostar85's post, but SPOILER QUOTE ALERT! and serbia can't use the excuse that their best players weren't playing. they'll just have to admit that the US is catching up to them because they don't do the fundamentals like play defense. sad statement on the state of basketball in serbia.
