I am so excited about the Texans it's ridiculous....other than my high schoo's march to the state finals in football and the Rockets run in 94 and in 95, I can't think of any other sporting event I've been more excited about.
I'm so grateful to Bob McNair for bringing the NFL back. I remember when the Oilers first left, I didn't think the NFL would ever come back for at least 20-30 years. Bob McNair won over the NFL owners who I believed would hold a grudge against the city and fans. I hope we never take the Texans for granted like we did the Oilers. There are people out there who believe Houston didn't deserve a second chance and that we won't support a losing Texans team. We must prove them wrong! There were many times during the scrimmage I couldn't believe what I was seeing again...Houston in the NFL. The Cowboys announcers joked the Houston fans cheered at anything and it was true...who cheers during punt practice? Houston fans do.
