Couldn't be happier. Even if Nnamdi was willing to sign, I'll take Joseph at half the price. The guy is younger, he hits harder, and he actually performed better against more passes than Nnamdi in 2010.

Good move. Now go sign a safety like Daniel Manning or Dawan Landry and your secondary will be much better.

dont expect that. the article says that they already have to restructure. he is going to get about 10-11 a year.

Sorry for all the horse racing jokes, uncle bob!
now go after a safety, another cb, a punter and a cheesecake factory inside the stadium and we're playoff bound.

    (make it rain now)

I don't know about half price.

Joseph should be getting $10-12 large per year.

Aso will likely get at least $14 large per year (i.e. what he made last year with Oakland).

Maybe with the difference, the Texans sign Leach.

Texans weren't going to go up on their offer, and Nnamdi's camp didn't respond to it. I'm sure they either asked for an expedited "yes/no", or gave a deadline.

Or, once Joseph said yes... to a cheaper deal... they wised up and realized they may be better off taking the extra $$$ and getting another quality secondary guy.

Joseph is a very good signing, I've always thought he had great coverage skills.

    Texans fans should be proud.

Because he's lost a step and wasn't worth his contract last year.
