Players I wouldn't mind signing to a contract: Anthony Mason Marc Jackson Chris Porter Eddie Robinson Ruben Patterson Clarence Weatherspoon Dreamcasting is FUN ------------------
Screw Webber and Finley! I say we have a Rockets reunion party. Sign Maxwell Maloney Thorpe Drew Tabak Elie and Email! Now that would be too damn cool ------------------ SUCK POLICE!!!!!! To point out individuals or teams that have managed to reach the pinnacle of SUCKINESS!!!!! ----- THE VIKINGS SUCK BIG TIME!
If we don't sign a marquee FA this summer, we won't for a while... ------------------ Check out my homepage! Loads of sports pics! http://www.public.asu.edu/~sykim/
Man, oh man! Shareef Abdur-Raheem? Heck no! I can't wait to get Pervis Ellison and Felton Spencer on board! Just kidding... ------------------ Nederland 2002 Rocketman95 on board. Check out his latest game recaps.
Actually how about the Rocks sign Zendon Hamilton, Thomas Hamilton, Venson Hamilton and trade Stevie for Richard Hamilton. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
I think Webber will resign with the Kings. If not, the Rocks should give him their cap space. With Dream gone and Cato being injury prone, the Rocks need to get a 5 in the worst way, someone who put up a 10-10 if he starts. Marc Jackson appears to be the best candidate. I say the Rocks go after Jackson first and then try and sign MoMoney with what is left with the cap (and pray Shandon holds on for one more year and a bigger payday). Here are the FAs I think the Rocks will be interested in: Chris Webber (real long shot) Maurice Taylor Marc Jackson David Robinson (the Spurs should not let him go, but ...) Shandon Anderson (Player Option) Chris Porter Jelani McCoy Otis Thorpe Matt Bullard (if he doesn't hang'em up) Moochie Norris ------------------ [This message has been edited by No Worries (edited January 17, 2001).]
I don't know about the rest of you, but Marc Jackson just doesn't impress me very much. He reminds me of Ike Austin. The top targets should be Webber, Finley, or Houston if he opts out, along with the Rockets own trio of Mo, Shandon, and Mooch. ------------------ "ON-BEE-TAH-BULL!!", Hakeem Abdul Olajuwon, alumnus, University of Houston

Man if Larry Hughes could just shoot above 10%......... Kid cannot shoot I'm sorry, I've watched most of his games in G.S. kid is like the Mitch Williams of Basketball. ------------------ "We need to fockass".....Dream back in the day

nazr mohammed could be a steal. he's pretty good, but of course, wont get the time he needs to develop behind ratliff in the "win now" mentality of philly. larry likes him and wants him in a situation where he can develop. i dont think he'd be expensive, maybe we can get him with what we have left after resigning motay and shandon. of course, theres better people available, but this one seems pretty realistic that those scenarios (forget cwebb). he's young and seems like he'd fit the mold of what we need. and at least we have someone there to play the 60 games cato will miss due to injury. ------------------ people who are related dont have to look alike. my mom and dad dont resemble each other at all
dont forget cwebb!!! the rockets brass must know something or else they wouldnt turn down penny hardaway for cliff robinson. think about it. ------------------
Hardaway is out for the remainder of the season. Or was that your way of being funny? ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
so what if hardaway is out for the remainder of the season? we are looking at the future arent we? its not like he is going to retire anytime soon. ------------------
It's not like he's ever going to play half a season either. Dude is F R A G I L E. The last time he played a full season was in 95-96. Since then he as played 59,19,50,60,4 games respectifully. Why in the name of all that is holy would you want this guy hogging up your salay space, not to mention the cost of digging the splinters out of his arse! ------------------ In the end there will be no judges...only witnesses to my greatness.
We already have a Hughes type of player on our team, except he's quicker and hits a better percentage of his shots. His name is Cuttino Mobley. As for Marc Jackson, I agree with Live, he looks good on paper, but I'm not convinced yet. ------------------ "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." - Gandhi
