Updated iPhone to 6.1.3, now I cannot use the damn phone

    As it set a passcode on my phone. My phone is not jail broken either. Anyone have any info as to how I can find the passcode for my phone to unlock? I've Googled but with no luck, just read a lot about this update, and it seems many are angry since it sucks. Will rep for help!

    take it to an Apple Store. Otherwise, you have to connect it to iTunes and maybe do a restore.

    You need to put in the following code:

    up, up

    down, down

    left, right

    left, right

    B, A

    enter


    this should enhance the life on the phone as well

    I did what you said Texxx, and all I did was beat Donkey Kong. Finally! I just restored the Damon thing, no interest in going to the Galleria when I could just back everything up and now I'm able to read again while dropping tail. #wining.

    I also tried what bigtexxx recommended to enhance the life of my Iphone, but nothing happened. I'm starting to think bigtexxx is no Apple expert.

    This happened to my phone like 2 weeks ago. My phone screen had the "plug in to Itunes" picture on it the whole time even though I was connected to itunes. I honestly forgot what I did to fix it but I remember using google and youtube to figure it out.

    theres a program that i used wayback to kick your phone out of DFU mode. Cant remember the name because i gave up on apple.

    You have to get a sim of the original carrier to restore it.

    Why? All of this due to a ****ty update by Apple? I'm beyond ready for the Galaxy S4 to go on sale. Goodbye iPhone.

    I never had a passcode set up ever. Google the new update. Plenty of people are b****ing about it and there are no patches to fix it. I'm not surprised you don't get "winning either. You're not one to get sarcasm. I BEAT DONKEY KONG, FOOL!

    try holding down the menu button and the power button at the same time for 10 seconds

    I did that more than a few times to power down and reboot. Nothing worked. I backed up all pictures and apps, but I don't keep a lot of stuff on the phone so restoring didn't bother me. 'S'all good.
