If I've updated, from now on I'll let you know here. I've simmed the first few days, and we're now on April 16th. http://users2.ev1.net/~morningstarmanor/simleague/ccnet/league.htm
Interesting first week. Seems odd that Montreal always gets a fast start in this sim.... I feel like a complete idiot for not bringing up Jack Cust last season. He might not have been ready then, but he probably would have done more than Reggie Sanders. Zac, I would just like to thank you once again for Jose Vidro...he is a life saver in my offense.
Damn for my team the unknowns are the one's stepping up and the major guys are killing me... Tim Hudson 6.53 ERA Barry Zito 5.66 Jon Garland 4.50 Mario Ramos 3.80 Ariel Prieto 1.42 Maybe I should re-think who my #1 starter is...I told you guys Ariel Prieto was a diamond in the rough... I'd also like to congratulate early ROTY candidate Jason Hart on winning the first of hopefully many player of the week awards... Also I must say it's gotta suck to be PSJ, Barry Larkin out for the season after game 1! Ouch!
Way too early in the season for me to worry about W/L. My starting pitchers are not nearly as bad as their statistics indicate so far. And how can I be scared when the division leader gave up 33 runs in a game? I did see a few mistakes in my roster: haven, please go back and check the roster thread before the next sim.
Haven, i wanted my rotation to be Vazquez Wolf Sirotka Carpenter Escobar and i wanted Adam Johnson my closer and the rest relievers Thank You
Did you even look at the lineup section of your team page? He got the rotation correct. At the top of your page, it lists your pitchers and stats, and it put most of your pitchers under starting pitcher because some of your relief guys are primarily SP, but if you look down towards the bottom, you will see that haven got it right.
I don't really know where I should post this but I want the Anaheim Angels. That is of course if Tim Wakefield is accurately portrayed.
A's and Astros advance to the WS. Both series went 7 games. The A's came back from a 2-1 and a 3-2 deficit. The Astros were up 3-0, before losing three straight.
yeah, congrulations bgm, next yr ill be joining you , i was referring to havens 3-0 lead, i never imagined it getting to a 7th game
Oh well. This was going to be an off year for me after losing my ace Glavine. Ill be back to win it all again next year. Series notes: Should have won Game 2: Blown lead by the bullpen. Should have won Game 6: Bases loaded in the 9th, Percival blows the game in the 10th. Burnett should have been pitching instead of rookie Kim. Should have won Game 7: Percival should not have been in again after losing Game 6. Lowe should have been brought in to close the game. Good series though.
